Our Services

  • Early Childhood

During our sessions with infants and toddlers, music is utilized to address several goals such as: socialization, expression, communication, and motor development. Typical interventions include: singing, instrument play, song stories, and movement. Since music is highly motivating, all interventions are designed to be success-oriented and build self-esteem.

  • Older Adults & Hospice

Music is a multi-modal means of expression and can be beneficial for those at the end of life and with memory disorders such as: Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and cognitive impairments.  Music at the end of life has been shown to enhance quality of life, improve mood, increase energy, and decrease agitation. During our sessions we use music to promote self-expression and communication, enhance patient/caregiver bonding, and encourage physical movement through singing and active music making.

  • Individual Music Therapy

Individual music therapy sessions are provided in-home or virtually (when appropriate). During one-on-one sessions, the music therapist will use music to address goals and needs specific to the client, through interventions such as: singing, improvisation, instrument play, songwriting, movement, relaxation and more. Sessions range from 30 minutes-60 minutes.

  • Group Music Therapy

Group music therapy sessions can be provided at several different locations such as nursing homes, adult day programs, schools, and the community. During group sessions, interventions such as instrument play, songwriting, movement, and improvisation are used to address the specific needs of the group. Group music therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can connect, share, and grow together through the shared experience of music! Sessions range from 30 minutes-45 minutes.
